The purposes of this blog are as follows:
- To expose Korea to an American audience, with use of photojournals and essays based on my experiences here over the next year. This is intended to cover anything from tourist attractions to cultural clashes to Korean issues.
- To maintain an active interest in events going on in Philadelphia, which I plan on returning to, as well as other events in America and across the globe.
- To provide other types of posts that do nothing more than force others to sift through my self-indulgences (hopefully not so much of that).
In the effort to maintain a blog about Korea, Philadelphia or any other topic, it is often difficult or even unwarranted to write from an entirely-objective standpoint. There will be many topics in which I will take a stance or opinion on. Please be aware of this and understand that, while I consider myself to be an open-minded and well-mannered individual, I fully intend to share my views on many issues and discoveries as I write here. You are more than welcome to share your own points (provided that they are in a well-written and inoffensive manner) regarding anything that is seen here.
Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, I run a bar in Jeju with my wife, and we put on quiz nights every week. Would you be interested in networking?

Hey I was wondering if you had any further info on Trivia night. Is it every Sunday? Do I have to bring my own team? Etc. Thanks.

Hey, Carl, the Wolfhound quiz is every Sunday at 9pm, and you can bring your own team. I may be hosting once or twice a week myself, while others will host the remaining Sundays. No entry fee, and I think the winning price is some bar bucks or free pitcher or something.
Thanks for your interest!
